Fashion Tips for Flight Travel

How to travel on flights fashionably and efficiently can take a little bit of practice to get down, but once you have your rhythm and favorite items, you can do so with ease! If you are traveling for work, family, vacation, it can make your travel experience so much more pleasant with a few tips to really smooth the travel process and ease the stressors.

1) Don't wear outfits with a lot of accessories.

If you are traveling through an airport, you will have to go through security. This is often true if you are flying a private jet and smaller airports too. The more pieces you wear that make it hard to take them off as you are going through security can add time to your travel journey. I recommend to really cut back on wearing jewelry or belts while you are traveling to ensure a smooth process.

2) Wear shoes that are easy to get in and out of.

Not all airports require you to take off your shoes anymore, but I would show up prepared. I would plan to travel in shoes that are easy to slip in and out of to really allow you ease as you're going through security. I would also recommend wearing socks so that you don't have to take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the airport floor. It is not the most sanitary and socks will keep your feet warm on the plane!

3) Check bags if you can!

I have always found that checking my bag makes traveling so much easier. I use to love having a carry on because it was faster, but now the checked bags get to your terminal so fast that it is easier to check your bags so you don't have to take them through security AND you can bring all your hygiene products without worrying about having to donate them because they are over the fluid allowance.

4) Bring noise canceling headphones

I love my noise canceling headphones. They are good for so many activities and I have found them especially helpful when traveling on airplanes. I highly recommend picking up a pair!

5) Bring a sweater!

WHY are airplanes and movie theaters always so cold? I am not sure, but when in doubt--bring a sweater. I have always preferred to bring a sweater because I would much rather have to tuck in under my seat rather than sit the whole flight freezing.

I hope these tips help you on your next travel experience! I will share more as I uncover them. Join me in the next blog on how to shop for clothing that is travel friendly!
